Position Title: ER Registered Nurse

Department:Emergency Department
Position Description: Provides direct & indirect patient care in the emergency care setting. Provides care that reflects initiative, flexability and responsibility indicative of professional expectations with minimal supervision. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, as well as factors influencing patient flow through system. Communicates with ER physicians about changes in patients' status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatement.

    Special Skills:Basic computer skills
    Physical Requirements:Stand; walk; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or control; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; use of hands and foot control repetitively. The employee is required to hear alarms on equipment, client call, and instructions from physicians/department staff
    License Required:Current Colorado RN License, CPR, PALS, ACLS and TNCC certification

    Individuals applying for any RN, LPN,or CNA positions must provide a current Colorado License and current BLS certification when submitting their application.
