Position Title: Laboratory Medical Technologist

Department:Laboratory
Position Description: Performs patient specimen analysis for diagnostic purposes, under the direct supervision of the Clinical Lab Director. Under the supervision of the Lab Director, processes specimens in hematology, chemistry, blood bank and microbiology.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    Special Skills:Basic computer knowledge
    Physical Requirements:Stand; walk; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or control; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; use of hands and foot control repetitively. The employee is required to hear alarms on equipment, client call, and instructions from physicians/department staff.
    License Required:Medical Technologist certification with ASCP , NCA or MLT
