Position Title: Certified Pharmacy Technician

Department:Pharmacy
Position Description: Assists the pharmacist by filling orders for medications for oral, rectal, topical and injectable use; mixes IV admixture solutions as required using aseptic technique in the IV hood. Prepare lables, repackages medications in unit-dose containers, stock/restocks drugs and supplies; orders drugs/supplies; prepares and files charges and performs other related duties.

    Qualifications:
    Education:High school diploma or equivalent
    Experience:Must have Meditech and hospital experience
    Special Skills:Basic computer knowledge
    Physical Requirements:Stand; walk; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or control; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; use of hands and foot control repetitively. The employee is required to hear alarms on equipment, client call, and instructions from physicians/department staff.
    License Required:Must be Colorado Pharmacy Technician Certified. Complete certification within 2 years is a must.

    Good customer service a must.
