Physical Therapy 

 | Education: | Responsible for administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as supervised by the staff Physical Therapist. Administers treatment and physical agents as directed by the staff Physical Therapist, after the the patient has been evaluated. Assists with restoration of patient functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. AA degree from a school or college approved by the APTA. Holds current certificate as Physical Therapist Assistant. Must have current BLC certification. |
 | Special Skills: | Basic computer knowledge. Basic knowledge of physical medicine, physical therapy modalities, anatomy and physiology. |
 | Physical Requirements: | Stand; walk; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or control; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; use of hands and foot control repetitively. The employee is required to hear alarms on equipment, client call, and instructions from physicians/department staff. |
 | License Required: | AA degree from a school or college approved by the APTA. Must have current BLS card. |
