Position Title: Radiologic Technologist Assistant

Department:Diagnostic Services (Radiology)
Position Description: Relieves radiology techs of clerical duties as typing forms, filing, loggin daily patient work, mailing of reports and disposition films when required by physicians or insurance companies. Assist in transporting patients by wheelchair or gurney to and from the Radiology Department. Develops the exposed radiographs to produce roentgenograph images. Greets outpaitents sets up their appointment and gives the paitent proper exam "prep" forms.

    Qualifications:
    Education:HIgh school diploma or GED required
    Special Skills:Basic computer knowledge
    Physical Requirements:Stand; walk; use hands repetitively to finger, handle, grasp, or feel objects, tools, or control; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk; use of hands and foot control repetitively. The employee is required to hear alarms on equipment, client call, and instructions from physicians/department staff.
    License Required:Current BLS certification
