7 3:00 pm Event: CPR Classes Location: MEC 3 Description: CPR (Basic Life Support) is free for AVRMC employees and $25 for outside participants. All regularly scheduled classes are on Wednesdays in MEC 3. On an as needed basis, instructors are willing to put together classes on other days or at other times for groups or organizations-if you know a group who would like CPR training (ex: girl scouts, doctors’ offices, families, etc.) please refer them to AVRMC. Contact Kimberly Montejano, RN to schedule a class or enroll in a scheduled class. |
8 8:00 am Event: ACLS Location: MEC 1-2 Description: ~RECERTIFICATION COURSE~ A current BLS is mandatory before any of the AHA courses can be taken. ALL ACLS classes have a BLS course embedded within the course. Prior to registering for any of the above notes courses, please see your supervisor. All AHA courses are free for AVRMC employees but here is a cost for the card. Please call Education at 719.383.6114 to register for courses. Use of America Heart Association materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of the fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association. |
