Job Summary:
• Prepares salads, desserts and fresh fruits/vegetables for service.
• Serves on patient tray line as needed.
• Serves patients, staff and visitors on cafeteria line.
• Keeps adequate amounts of coffee and tea in cafeteria.
• Cashiers and totals receipts.
• Keeps serving/dining areas and equipment clean.
• Keeps cafeteria stocked with supplies.
• Documents temperatures of food in cafeteria and tray line.
• Takes patient food orders and tally’s amounts for Cook’s production sheet.
• Other duties may be assigned.
Skills/Educational Requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
