Clinical Dietitian - Nutrition Services

Job Summary
●Plans & coordinates nutritional care activities to meet patient's nutritional needs and requirements.
●Consult with physicians, nurses, and colleagues to provide the optimal nutritional plan for the individual.
●Write special diets as needed.
●Perform diet counseling as required.
●Monitor implementation of nutrition care.
●Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
●Bachelor's Degree in Foods and Nutrition from an accredited college/university specified by the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
●Must have completed requirements for membership in the ADA and become registered within 12 months of employment.
●Maintain National Registration by attending a minimum of 75 hours of continuing education within each 5-year reporting period.
