Clinical Assistant - Specialty Clinic

Job Summary
• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting
• Registers patients according to each physician’s protocol
• Assists in recording statistics as requested in Supervisor’s absence.
• Assists in maintaining adequate levels of office supplies and assists in the ordering of other
supplies as requested
• Performs clerical duties as requested
• Greets patients in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
• Processes incoming phone calls, maintains and checks voice messaging daily.
• Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care; meets the
communication needs of the patient and family
• Maintains regulatory agency requirements, nursing and clinic policies, procedures and
standards
• Communicates with physicians and team members about any changes in patient’s clinical
condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptoms
Education Requirements
●CNA or MA preferred
●CPR/BLS certification preferred
●Basic computer knowledge
