EVS Technician (1st Shift) - Environmental Care

Job Summary:
- Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas,
waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairwells in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.
- Transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
- Replenishes supplies in rooms and on housekeeping carts.
- Utilized the appropriate PPE, chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Follows all infection control practices, including handwashing techniques, standards precautions, and isolation precautions.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Skills/Educational Requirements:
- Must have valid Driver's License
- High school graduate or general equivalence diploma preferred
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
