Community Relations Associate - Administration/Business Development

Job Description:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referring providers, physician practices, and other key healthcare stakeholders throughout the region.
- Serve as an external representative of AVRMC, with a strong emphasis on in-person visits and consistent presence outside the hospital setting to engage providers and promote AVRMC services.
- Proactively identify opportunities to grow referral relationships and communicate AVRMC's capabilities and service offerings directly to providers.
- Coordinate and support physician onboarding efforts, including facility tours, introductions within the medical community, and integration into the region
- Gather, document, and share provider feedback to strengthen long-term partnerships and improve referral processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Business Development and Human Resources to support targeted provider recruitment and outreach campaigns.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Healthcare, Administration, or related field (preferred)
- One to Three years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations, healthcare outreach, or community development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable with Public Speaking and engaging with diverse community audiences.
- Proficiency in social media management and graphic design tools.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with rural communities and/or healthcare environments is highly valued.
- Possess a valid Driver's License
Salary will depend upon education and experience.
